FDX - training hotel

Headed to MEM for three days of training. Did the hotel at the airport (Radisson, Regency can't remember?) go under? Fairfield Inn (Olive Branch) is sold out. How is the Whispering Woods? PIREP's appreciated.

Whispering Woods is fine. Same van service as the Fairfield Inn and they will take you anywhere. Lots of restaurants nearby and the area is very safe. The Whispering Woods used to be a Holiday Inn training hotel so the layout is a little different. But it is very quiet and clean. A good place to hole up and study.

Hacks Cross HI Express is $55 but you need wheels.

Fairfield on Showcase ok in a pinch. Good transpo but costs a little more. Plus you can walk across the street to the uniform store and get a hat!

Last time I did Fairfield by Perkins (6 mo. ago) there was no van service on Friday or Saturday night. Hotel called for cab and ended up waiting 1:15. Never stayed again.
