UPS Hiring in the New Year

Skyline. I don't understand your statement on perspective.
I think the general view is the most highly qualified pilots looking for stability and upgrades while living in the lower 48 should consider carefully taking a job with UPS. I didn't read anyone saying its worse the a regional copilot job.

Also ... someone on 8+ year pay, has had an entirely different "career" at UPS airlines than the 2007 hire coworker ...
... just sayin'
... just sayin'
I've only missed one Christmas in 9 years at UPS. QOL is the best feature of the job. I get why the most junior ANC guys hate UPS but I still recommend it to anyone. Commuting to ANC will always suck be living in domicile in Louisville can't be beat.

Keep in mind that most applicants to any major (including cargo, mainlines, etc) are regional people...both Captains and FOs alike. Also keep in mind that not all regional FOs are alike. Many have substantial previous experience (there are military pilots, former corporate, 135, etc, flying at the regional level). All sorts of highly qualified applicants WILL be applying to UPS when possible...you'll see.
To many, coming to UPS (even under current conditions) may be a huge advancement. That's what I was trying to say I guess. Sorry for any confusion.
