I am confused. Are you employed, on furlough, or both??
Anyway, lots of places will give you college credit for your flying. Try ERAU online, and also.. the University of Memphis. You can make up your own degree program there, and gets credit for your flying ratings.
Think long term... not where you want to be today, but where you want to be in 3-5 years. If you go get the degree now, you have a terrific story for a future interview, and it will make you look great.

Can I give you some advise?
I suggest a better answer, should you be fortunate enough to get an interview might be, "I know that college is an important part of making me a well rounded person and pilot, and that's why I've been doing my best to complete those requirements despite my professional and family obligations."

Nothing is free fellas. It doesn't matter what anything cost, as long as it gets you where you want to go. Degree, 737 type, fcc license, new car, etc.
Heck, we go our nice scooby snacks complements of the company and union!

There have been a few guys hired without a degree, they had a lor and one person lived in SDF . I had a friend who had a lot of excellent qualification but was personally called on his degree that he bought online, even though he had plenty of classes at real colleges just never finished so he was given credit by an online college. It didn't fly with someone at HR. So get some classes and get a degree. He is going back to finish his up. Also, don't count FE time in your totals.
