The leather jacket was a lure for the first contract. Ratify the contract, we'll give you your profit sharing and talk about getting you a leather jacket.

Now they'll take it away by fiat, and make us pay to get it back?

We ARE smarter than that, aren't we?

Are we? :o

.

Tony, your post is less than 2 pages. I sense you are losing your passion.

And I think I figured out what low rise pants are. I'm all in on that change...

So your suggestion is we block all the roads into Herndon yelling no jackets no peace?

By your own statement, if we want a particular uniform item it must be in the CBA or else management can drop it by fiat.

We should all get our pants re-tailored to be 2" short.

Kilts....versatile, stylish, and scratching one's private parts just got a lot easier...

A lot of passenger carriers have specific contract language on uniforms to include what and when exact items must be worn. Usually by date.

Since they didn't get off their butts to inform us of this until now, I wonder if they are going to reimburse people who have recently ordered leather jackets.

I know some guys who will really appreciate those maternity clothes, giving a little extra room in the stomach area.

I do not see an increase in the yearly uniform allowance so we can purchase these uniform changes. Did I miss it?

And, how many times have we been told - we aren't like the passenger carriers?

"We are looking at the business end to changing the parka" In other words, they are trying to put a name tag and epaulets on it.
