Same. I'm very interested to what, if anything, unfolds over the next six months. I just had an Amazon truck deliver two packages to me, on a Sunday, with Amazon employees... An airline would be a logical (expensive) next step.

A 3rd/4th quarter short-term ramp-up in cargo operations?

Has anyone considered the possibility they're just running their own temporary peak-season ACMI backbone to ensure their delivery times?

Like I said I am cautiously optimistic. They're calling the 4th quarter sort a test. ATSG didn't do any flying for Aerosmith in the 3rd quarter.

Amazon, which has rapidly built a network of on-demand workers for its Prime Now service, now faces a lawsuit over how those workers are treated. The action potentially thrusts Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) into the center of a debate roiling Silicon Valley over whether on-demand workers should be treated as employees or independent contractors

I can understand a belief system based purely on a bizarre premise, but one must consider the physical limitations, short of buying UPS and FEDX this is impossible. The facts can't support your misplaced faith.

Plans are not FACTs. FedEx had "plans" to buy A380s. It wasn't a rumor, just a plan. Declarative statements don't make ideas any more real. You can't create a FedEx or UPS out of bits of code and a mobile app. It takes trained people, huge infrastructure and time. Two years won't do it.

You work for Amazon? Doing what? This most likely: My gruelling day as an Amazon Mechanical Turk
