Kind of strange that they don't have any new airframes and postponing classes indefinitely. Thought they had a contract with Amazon? Kind of goes against all the positive news lately.

CTR is wrong- 2 767-200 lease returns coming online as well as a -300 fresh out of conversion

Btw, you can go to yahoo finance and read the ATSG qtr report. During the Q and A they claim they overhired pilots and ramped up too soon.

Does anyone know when classes and hiring will ramp up again? ABX is busy with classes.

Does anyone know how ATI will deal with the required change in the differences (757/767) training standards and currency? A change to the 8900 came out on Jan 1 and its time for the carriers to send the training changes for approval to the FAA. My understanding is American will abandon the dual qualified pilot due to these new required currency and training standards which make it inefficient to have dual qualified pilots. I think AA is also in the Dallas FSDO.

I'm not sure what office AA is under. Everyone I know in management there has been pushed out by ex USA/AWA people. So I get no info from that place.

We already hit both sims in a year so we comply by doing the alternating events and LC's. It's no big deal pilot wise. Sim availability "could" be an issue latter.

1st qtr 2017

I've heard no more for this year. I don't believe we are getting the quoted aircraft fast enough or at all.
