Plus "our" union the one that matters, has told us this is informational picketing nothing more.

I think this is why we are SO fat on crews. We are way over staffed to the point we could easily double pump the sort with day and night flights out of ILN. Seems like they are calling all the reserve guys in to ILN next week too.
Company DB and poser. Plain and simple (emphasis on simple).

No, that's not at all what I'm saying. I'm just saying that a memo from ATI's DO is not what makes them scabs.

If the judge rules the strike is legal this afternoon will you then honor the picket lines?

Wasn't related, it was an LGBT issue that got out of hand. Company made HR decision moved people to hampton to prevent issues concerning safety. I don't think it was an assault/hate crime. Not sure of Ohio law...not a cop nor attorney

Best thing to do with weekends OFF is to ignore him. He only posts flame bait.

I made a couple of calls this morning asking why ALPA has not been more involved. The main answer was unlike almost every single strike by non ALPA pilots in the past there was zero coordination from ABX prior to the strike. They did not notify ALPA, request any assistance or provide a declaration of what is considered struck work. As of this morning they have still done none of the above. ALPA is currently awaiting the judges decision on the legality of the strike and will assist ABX in any legal way possible if asked. Formulating a response and plan takes time. Prior coordination would have assisted in that greatly.

And it doesn't strike me, frankly, that management would be savvy enough to do that.
Amazon was concerned enough about possible service interruptions that they cancelled entire air operations till Friday!

So because there was no coordination it's OK to cross our picket line?

I dont know and neither does ALPA since there has been zero communication. That is why your union should have notified ALPA and delineated what constitutes struck work. In many if not most strikes the striking airline will approve crossing lines to assist customers in getting to destinations or goods shipped since the strike is not against the customer. What does ABX want? Each strike is unique that is why coordination is not only smart but essential.
