Doesn't really affect me either way. Until I get a call from a major, not holding my breath, it's a non issue.

Few thoughts on ABX:
The biggest issue with QOL right now is all the Jr. Manning going on.
Apparentely, hiring will catch up around April-May. Seems like we're going to see a growth slowdown, which is not bad considering how things were happening.
Since the strike ATSG it's been telling ABX that no new Amazon flying for us. I can see them steering new airframe arrivals towards ATI's side.
They'll do their best to make ATI grow and keep ABX on the sideline. Having said this, ATSG won't be able to give ATI ALL the new Amazon flying for 2 simple reasons:
1. They won't be able to handle ALL the new flying
2. You'd be giving ATI too much leverage.
*ATSG will be using this technique for contract negotiations purposes* (classic move)
Personaly, I'm not worry at all when they say we won't be getting more Amazon flying. I'm 100% positive we will, off course, at a slower rate until we sign a new contract.
Going back to QOL, once we're more decentely staffed, schedules are pretty decent. 13-14 days off, 4-day weekend layovers, daytime flying on the Amazon side, trip trades, droppable DH legs fully paid, very little commercial.
Second year pay is 101@68hrs min. Don't know when the new contract will be signed, but expect 15-20% increase.
A final thought. Going to ABX is a gamble right now, it could go either way. If you ask me, we'll be fine. Don't worry if you see new aiframes going to ATI. That's only temporary. DHL got the message with the strike. You just can't play IBT carriers against each other. Amazon flying is only going to keep increasing. Not all that new flying CAN go to ATI.
So, close you're eyes and roll the dice....

What's the advantage of getting the single carrier status anyway. ABX pilots tell ATI pilots they will keep their seniority, work under their existing contract and the airlines won't merge. So whats the advantage or disadvantage for either ABX or ATI on single carrier status.
