The way I read it is this years pay raise is a done deal but any further pay raises are frozen.
I think we can expect furloughs in the near future, voluntary at first but mandatory at some point if things don’t get better which is probably the same throughout the industry.
I guess the one saving grace for Swift is that their business is quite diverse so I believe there will be pain but I doubt they are going to close the doors unless everything goes to hell in the next 6 months and then there will be more to worry about than a job.

The new pay rates that went in to effect 3/1 remain. No step increases for the duration of the national emergency. Regarding the post about the pilot who crashed. Not the same person. They were already at swift when that happened
