Swift Air - The truth

Yes, completely silent aren't they. Especially the MEXI guy. As a matter of fact, it seems to be getting worse. But the tone and culture of any company starts from the top. Completely disappointed with the 119's that allow the shortcuts to continue

When you’re working your butt off don’t have time to deal with boards, got to pay the bills. And don’t really have any new stuff to add except what I previously put about name changes.
What am I going to reply to the same 4 disgruntled guys about the same thing over and over? Get over it guys especially those of you that are gone, if you found greener pastures then great! Don’t let the lord hit ya where the lord split ya! The rest of us have children to clothe and feed.
The 119 structure everywhere is hit or miss. Can’t tell you how much bad stuff I heard about up top at XJT or 3M for that matter. The airline industry is a vicious world, there will always be something you dislike. Hell the inflight manager today was separated, so I hope whoever replaces her will step up and take care of inflight. Those guys and girls work their butt off, they don’t have an easy job.
I’ve been here a long time now, seems like forever sometimes. I can tell you things have evolved immensely from when I started here. I still remember having to put lat and long in the FMC because it wasn’t in the databases. Now we have 10.8 boxes and RNAV approval. Went from straight salary to a pay scale. It’s not American but it’s a start. It’s a company with aggressive sales and a good foothold in the charter market. Now it’s just they need keep right foot forward.
Again I will say if you hate it here so much, leave. Everyone is hiring.

You talk such a wild game. “The rest of us have children to clothe and feed”- yea what about those of us that aren’t on the CP’s nice list?
How about we swap paychecks?
You get paid more than your coworkers!
You get that under-the-table lovin!
I was never the type to ride a Richard ....Maybe thats my problem...maybe I shouldnt have questioned getting flightplans filed through active SIGMETS? Maybe I shouldnt have questioned the maintenance procedures being completed per the MEL? I probably shouldnt have held a grown man to his word? Or maybe I shouldnt have tried to explain why a plane wasnt safe to fly that time I refused it and was made to feel like I was shutting down the worlds power supply...your kids are doin better than mine.
Exponentially better.
You like Swift because everytime you try to convince someone on here that its not that bad of a career choice, its an act of self therapy. Externalize your universal truths and be content with them.
Im not going anywhere.

You want flight plans to quit being filed through active sigmets 😂😂 please be sure to bring that up in your major interview, that’s about as stupid as it gets on this forum, if every carrier did that all flights out of Florida would be cancelled every summer day, brother if your so unhappy I think envoy would hire you, if your that unhappy and scared for your life as it so seems, you would not be staying here, so something is keeping you here, my guess is you know it looks great on your resume versus an RJ. You need to relax somethings you cannot control. Don’t have such a direct approach to Maintance being wrong have an indirect approach to see how you can fix a problem. And you will have a much better day at work and 2 people will actually want to be help be apart of a solution to your concern, if your an ******* then no one will want to help with your concern.
I think you should consider taking your own advice:
if your an ******* then no one will want to help with your concern.

No. Definitely NOT common sense. I distinctly remember when I first got here, I was told, in no uncertain terms "the only way to get safety issues looked into, was to file an ASAP, and a DS100." That way the FAA gets a look at it. IT IS STILL THAT WAY.

A few weeks ago, a Cuban national stowaway was found in the cargo hold of a Swift AIR flight coming from Havana. Up until this date, the Swift 119's have NOT sent out any information about what happened, and what the company is doing to prevent it from happening again.
NO, NO. NOT COMMON SENSE AT ALL.
