It will. These fake Lorenzo mofo’s will throw debt on omni, then whipsaw the pilot groups for amazon flying. It’ll be OH 2000’s all over again. Same actors. High profit, zero debt company controlled by idiots.

Basically, Omni just fell back into the crapper... Well, at least those guys got to enjoy some good pay for a couple months. I bet things go south there in 6 months. Oh well....

Could Omni pilots really see a pay decrease with this change of events? Would it even be legal?

No... and take 90% of what you read on this forum with some salt, if you believed everything posted on here all airlines have been out of business since 2011. Only time will tell where this is headed.

AviatorHI you have just fell off your boat into the water with a lot of big hungry sharks and your splashing around is just going to **** them off even more. Good luck. I actually think your in better shape than the ABX guys but your still gonna need that B plan eventually. ATSG are not nice people. Pay attention to ABX and this is your future also. Remember the parable of the frog and the scorpion.

I've been reading the trash on this forum long enough to remember when K4 was going to close down in a year, Omni was a wasted career, United had no future, Expressjet was the best regional, ATI would be out of business/airplanes in a few months, the list goes on and on. All these airlines have had their share of ups and downs ofcourse, but none of the doom and gloom predictions have come true. The best thing anyone can do is sit, wait, and see what happens. I am fairly confident in saying most people don't throw around almost a billion dollars in cash because they intend for it to evaporate. Not saying it won't evaporate, just saying it's probably not intended to.

Short answer..yes. Here is how it will happen. Omni has no debt..all but 2 aircraft are owned outright. Those assets (aircraft) will be transferred to the black hole CAM Leasing ..another ATSG holding company. Omni will then start making ridiculously high lease payments on aircraft that just days before they owned free and clear. Cam will increase its record profits while Omni crews will be told their costs are too high and concessions are necessary to remain profitable. Also no money will be paid to Omni for those assets...just gone! We have seen this happen at ABX with all our airframes. Watch your aircraft by serial number. Ours are tied to our retirement..and our scope does not allow a sister airline to operate them once they have been added to our certificate. If Omni does not have any scope ...the airframes can be transferred to anyone. Good luck.

The Omni pilots really only care about their jobs and paychecks....this is were they will see a differance. They will see their aircraft transferred within days of the final ink drying. Omni profits will shrink and ATSG/CAM profits will increase. Hete has no intention of seeing the billion evaporate...he only wants to make sure the pilots are responsible for any lost profit.
