Does home basing at EAL fly you work during your 18 days or is it on your off days? How about DH to a plane, is it business or better? How long are the sits or do you drop off a plane and head to the next flight on a commercial flight? How are the pay and benefits otherwise. A bit higher hourly than AmeriJet and Atlas but Atlas has a contract. Feel free to PM if you are a current pilot.

Eastern is pulling CJOs. It's not you its us? I keep checking and they aren't really flying their planes.

To clarify... They extended you a CJO... then cancelled the class?

I just know they rescinded the CJO. No explanation given.

At least they let you know the ship is sinking before you got to Sim training (used to be not uncommon to find out your class was canceled when the SIM center locked you out with no explanation)... I'd suggest you try Kalitta, Atlas, Omni, etc. Thanks to the war in Ukraine and the persistent logistics and manpower shortages I think any of those are likely to hire you and they have plenty of business to go around - even if they are individually a bit hit and miss. Plus they're all union shops, unlike the dumpster fire that is EAL.

They’re still advertising FO positions on LinkedIn.

HR said I didn't meet FAA minimums? The pilot recruiter said they want 1500 turbine - which isn't listed on their job page. Seems like an unprofessional outfit, I shouldn't have passed their initial phone screen if they require that much time.

Minimum Qualifications:
· ATP License
· FAA first class medical (or able to obtain one before training)
· Valid driver's license
· Impeccable safety and training record

Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous B-767 FAR 121 experience
· CRM experience

MIA based with another carrier.

Thinking about getting a DNR tattooed on my chest: In Case of Apparent Cardiac Arrest, Do Not Attempt CPR or Use of a Defibrillator, Please Drop body on 36th Sidewalk, Natural Resuscitation Will Occur within 3-Days Without Side Affects".
