First of all, the executive order is not a law, and hence unenforceable in court. There is already precedent on this subject. No law on this subject is possible because it would take away rights of the people without cause. I obey laws, not unconstitutional executive orders.

Second, the executive order signed by the Florida governor does NOT say "NJ resident". It doesn't say "NY resident". It says anyone traveling directly from those areas. I did not travel directly from NJ / NY and hence the order doesn't apply. A loophole to be true, but a valid one.

Third, as you kindly pointed out, the DHS has ruled that when essential workers are traveling in support of their job state orders don't apply. As the company requires us to maintain a professional appearance and I was traveling specifically to get a haircut in support of that requirement, I was more than justified doing what I did and I'll do it again in a couple months if my state governor doesn't see reason in that time.

And fourth, like countless millions not counted because we are denied testing, I already had covid. There is no reason for me to wear a mask, nor is there any reason for my travel to be restricted. The only thing anyone is getting from me is antibodies from my blood serum.

I recommend doing a lot more critical thinking and a lot less SJW posturing.

Critical thinking sometimes, as unfortunate as it is, requires research too. Keeping in mind neither one of us are lawyers, I think....here is an excerpt from the ABA website.

Both executive orders and proclamations have the force of law, much like regulations issued by federal agencies, so they are codified under Title 3 of the Code of Federal Regulations, which is the formal collection of all of the rules and regulations issued by the executive branch and other federal agencies.”

Here is the link to the discussion...

It could also be argued that getting a pair of clippers from Amazon without getting on a plane an “loopholing” your way to a fresh styling would have been just as possible and accomplished the same task. For instance, I spent thirty minutes on YouTube last month and put a nice medium fade on myself without breaking any executive order or guideline. Just saying, we accomplished the same thing in far different ways. I’d like to think I found my own “loophole” to a haircut.

Personally, I don’t care what you do. I think rights are being trampled on by every level of government right now to the general public, as well as imposing disastrous and subsequently potential generational altering economic impacts. But you can’t ridicule someone for posturing by doing the same. Just my non-attorney opinion.

I am curious. If you were denied testing how do you know that you had it?
Second question. Is there a definitive study available that shows that a person, once infected and recovered from COVID 19
is unable to transmit the virus to others?

Short answer: Because my symptoms were an exact duplicate of several other people, including colleagues and family members that had it and received testing because they were displaying symptoms at that time. I was not tested when I had it because no test was available at that time.

My brother had similar symptoms around the same time as I did and he was since in direct contact with his wife and step daughter (both of whom were confirmed positive via testing) and he did NOT get sick. That's proof positive (for me at least) that not only did my brother and I have it well before anyone we knew but we are also immune.

Incidentally, Fauci indicated recently in an interview that recovery from covid provides immunity. As much as I disagree with him on a number of fronts, I do agree with him here. This is the way a healthy immune system works. If you get covid and die, you would have died from the flu or countless other maladies because your immune system is compromised. Long established medical doctrine specifies we quarantine the sick and vulnerable -- not the healthy. It's time to stop fear mongering and get back to work.

This is a ridiculous and unsubstantiated claim. Plenty of healthy people have died, although a very small number statistically speaking. Regardless of what you believe, this is really an irresponsible, unscientific, and absurd claim to make

There's nothing unscientific about pointing out the obvious -- only people with compromised immune systems are vulnerable to the virus since by definition a healthy immune response is clearly responsible for the recovery of the vast majority of people who have contracted the virus. Put simply, if you are healthy, you recover. If not, you succumb and die. I don't see anything unscientific or unsubstantiated with that statement, as it is a statement of reality and fact.

Furthermore, just because someone is not visibly sick, obese or old-aged at the time they contract this virus does not make them "healthy", though our sick-care system would obviously label them as such. The vast majority of people in this country have no idea how to take care of themselves and are not healthy. They live a sedentary lifestyle (i.e. don't exercise in any meaningful way), eat garbage (fast food, processed food, sugar drinks), and smoke or drink alcohol, all of which dramatically reduces immune system effectiveness and makes them vulnerable to the virus.

This is simply not true. While individuals who are healthy die at a far lower rate, there are still perfectly healthy people who die. No medical conditions. No obesity. Healthy diet. No asthma. No history or indication of poor health. People like this have died. Saying otherwise is a lie. But in any case, that's not what you said. This is what you said:

This is a ridiculous claim that suggests all the covid deaths would have happened anyway because they would have died of the flu if they hadn't gotten the coronavirus. That is an unprovable statement, and it ignores the fact that this years overall death rate is higher than last years. If these people would've died from the flu or other normal causes anyway, shouldn't this years average death rate for april match last years? Nationwide, nearly 64,000 more people have died than usual between March 15 and April 25. If it's "just the flu," why have so many more people died this year compared to last year?

I agree, but you have to recognize that people with active lifestyles, healthy diets, who don't smoke or drink, have died. A very small number, to be sure, but healthy people have died, and pretending otherwise is an act of fantasy
