Just for perspective....not an excuse for juvenile behavior, but some of us at XJT were bitter at ANYBODY who left while we were trying to “better” the regional playing field. In hindsight, it was a misguided effort, and anybody who left was just looking out for their own best opportunity. The ones who stayed behind talked smack about the others because we felt like they were “propagating the whipsaw.” Many of us, myself included, said a lot of petty things. Many of us, as type A pilot types, need to be right.....even when we aren’t. I still don’t always agree with the way jacburn talks....he can be a self righteous mofo, but so can I. In the end...he managed to secure himself a safe haven while the rest of us are floating on debris in a sea of uncertainty. So.....humble pie isn’t a very tasty dish, but often it’s the dessert we need to be served. I can’t speak for the rest of those who have ugly comments for jacburn....but in my case, it was absolutely a case of misguided resentment based on numerous other factors in life. Good luck to you, JB. Hope it all works out for you. Hope your son is well.

1) good on you Read Only, APC would be better off with more people posting like you.

2) idk Jacburn before C5, but his reputation here is overwhelming positive and well deserved. He’s an asset to the pilot group.

My apologies for the words I used in my earlier post about being stuck at Commutair. That was insensitive of me and I apologize. I'm just tired of reading his antagonizing and untruthful posts about XJT over the past several years. I truly get that people need to look after his/her best interests but to act the way he acted towards the pilots and union was just wrong.

I'd rather have a number at UAL and be furloughed for 10 years than be at C5.

Don’t apologize. If my memory serves me right he’s the former Xjt pilot that acquired Xjet’s training materials for C5

Your memory is not correct. I was never in the training dept at XJT and I did not have access to those. I was also not at C5 when they originally got the UA jets. The person that you are thinking about works for Detla and we will gladly take him back at C5 if he needs the help.

The reason a lot of pilots didn't like me at XJT is because I constantly pointed out how the company was lying to the pilot group. I was the one that posted the "hiring 40 and upgrading 40 pilots a month" bullcrap ads that the recruiting department kept putting out. I was the one that continued to tell people why XJT was not a good choice for new hires. I was the one that pointed out that upgrade time was never near the couple of years that they continued to publish until the 175's showed up and then I stopped posting about the lies from management. I was the one that posted why $1.50 raise was total bull crap and how inflation made that 1.50 less than what we made prior to what you guys voted in as a concession the day after I was furloughed. (the 1.50 argument was the point that readonly and I went different directions and ended up being ****ed at each other btw and I am glad that hatchet has been buried)

Also, no apologizes needed anyway. I am not stuck at C5. I am exactly where I want to be. The ones that actually knew me and flew with me from XJT have been trying to get me to go work for their companies and I keep turning down their offers. You know, Fedex, UPS, JetBlue.... not some LCC even though I have guys trying to get me there as well. I will wait a little bit and see what happens with UA, but that is still the plan since I am in one of the next new hire class.

Any company that would gladly take stolen training materials doesn't deserve to be in business.

Oh yes stolen manual scandal at C5. Someone think of the children!

Better get lawyers in for an intellectual property lawsuit.

They were not stolen buy that person. The slides were created in the same fashion for C5 as those that were used by XJT by an instructor that knew how to build a slide presentation. The XJT slides wouldn't work for C5 anyway since they do not match the C5 manual.

Stolen manuals....lol lol lol
I don't think C5 needed to steal anything considering that there were STACKS of old RAH 145 manuals in the class room at FSI.
