Yeah, I was just curious if anyone had gotten the Hogan lately. I start class in two weeks and haven't gotten it yet. No rush, but I had heard I would get it before class and want to make sure I don't miss anything.

Moving map, RNAV, flight director, dual FMS, captain side HUD.

What monthly flight time are Ca /FO getting in the Dash and best guess of what that will be in the 145? What's going to get you to the 1000 total PIC first? Or is it pretty even? I know the 145 hasn't had a flight but they have to have the routs mapped out by now. Dash overlay or are they getting new longer routes?

My assumption is that you'll probably get the same amount of time on either aircraft. But that's all it is - an assumption. I say that because if you're coming in with prior 121 time, although you'll upgrade quickly, you'll also be on reserve for a while as FOs senior to you eventually upgrade. As far as how much flying you'll do on reserve, that's based on staffing. Im in the June ERJ CA class, and was told the initial slate of ERJ schedules will probably be a combination of reserve and set lines based on PBS only being able to do so much with X amount of flying. Hope that helps. Regardless, now is a great time to get in at C5. The longer you wait, the less senior you'll be. My class started in January and we are already about 50% seniority in both bases.

I really don't think you can consider the Dash as having a moving map...

If you are a commuter, how do the company paid hotels work while you are on reserve? Also what is the reserve schedule? I am interested in IAD.
