OKay i didn't have the time to read through all 50 pages of a lot of BLAH BLAH BLAH but can some of the guys working for Commutair comment on how the company is to work for? Besides the usual complaining about schedules crap. I heard they don't let first year pilots commute to the base is that true? I know upgrade time is getting shorter, whats the current time for upgrade? And as far as hiring, I'm looking at possibilities for April 2013 (I know far away stuck in a one year contract right now and I need the bonus) and I know things change but is the 100ME requirement pretty solid or are people getting on with less. I'm at 50ME from a collegiate 141 program, does that help?

I've had a good QOL so far. I held a line after a month. Pay sucks, and not knowing what the state of the coompany financially or it's future plans kind of bothers me (privately owned). About the mins, not to sure. I have not had any problems with scheduling myself.

Its a short-staffed regional. Nothing's paradise in the regional world.
100% false
Currently upgrade class is 2/14/2011 hire date. The upgrade is trending to get longer, especially when Aug 2013 gets near.
Historically the multi min has been a sticking point, but when desperation ensues approaching the ATP deadline, you'll likely see it drop.

Right now its solid (the multi time) and the total times are going up. You can commute to work. Although the most Jr base is SYR right now and good luck getting there. It can be done just depends on where you start. Although there are thoughts and rumors about just having the domicile be out of IAD. (the SYR domicile services the IAD hub). Pilot group is awesome and the new pay rate of block or better is nice. First year pay is on par with most regional's/ +/- 2 bucks and hour. Second year f.o pay not so much, oh well upgrade time is usually quick. Even if it was lengthened 3 years its still faster than the 8 right now at Expressjet. Helps if you know an current employee here to get you hired.

Oh right on. thanks for the info. Yeah I do know a couple guys that just started that went to the same school I did so maybe they can walk in a resume for me. I live right near MHT and I know they service that airport so I'd def be commuting. What's the deal with crash pads? Are they options other than a hotel if you get stuck in EWR for the night or something?
