There is a special place down below for these recruiters who keep stringing people along and giving false hope.

It’s terrible,
my buddy quit a charter job to be a DEC at CommutAir back in February. His class got canceled and he was stuck without a job or unemployment.

I'm not saying your buddy is lying, but we had classes as recently as 3/2 and nobody was furloughed. Those that have been stuck in training this whole time have been getting paid guarantee. If your buddy had a class after 3/2, yes, his class was postponed.

CommutAir did not cancel any February classes.

His exact class date was 3/23, was notified on 3/19 of hiring freeze. I should have been more specific, he interviewed in Feb.

He shouldn't have quit quite so early (if he had a choice). I'll preach that one until the cows come home. Had a near miss once, every time I switched jobs I was on pins and needles for that two week gap. Two weeks notice only, unless you have some contract that requires otherwise (overseas that can be seven years notice plus deed of indenturement on your first-born).

3/19-3/23 is only 4 days. Only option would have been to not give 2 weeks notice
