No but we are consulted on many items and have sign NDA’s. Also at most ALPA carriers the union has a training committee that works with the company to develop training programs. Which is good for both sides

No idea what the original issues was OO took there first E175 in 2014. Took them 1 year after official announcement to fly the first one (they started the ground work 6 months before that) XJT’s first 175 was 2019. From what i understand OO handed QX and XJT all we had to help them get the 175’s online..

LXjet had a 175 training program setup in 2012/3. We were trying to get ahead of the curve

C5 wont be getting ANY new aircraft . They have the worst on time performance out of all the United express carriers and are bleeding pilots to better things daily. Im honestly surprised they are still around but i'll give them about 6 more months.

My instinct says United will prioritize 76 seaters as they are forced to park everything else for lack of crews. Will they attempt to consolidate all of those aircraft on a single certificate? Who knows.
This career has always been about luck and timing. This massive hiring wave doesn't change that. Some pilots will end up with rapid career progression and some for a variety of reasons will not. Trying to game which regional is going to go out of business first is a fool's errand.

At this point I am pretty sure management starts these rumors. "Hang in there guys, new aircraft are (might be) coming... More pay and QOL benefits discussions are being had!" "You matter!" At C5s current rate of pilot attrition they will be gone for sure pretty soon.
