Kinda gone radio silence here, no?
Just wondering if anything is new? I was reading the recruitment page and it sounds enticing however, the other posts on this forum don't paint a good picture.
Steven Segal once asked "What's it take to change the essence of a man"? "Time to change, Time"!

The music has almost come to a stop, so get comfortable. Say bye to the bonuses, reduced hiring mins, and other incentives. This industry never saw the good times for pilots like it has in the last few years. Too bad about the E3 helping C5 stall negotiation progress during the good times. It will take a few years of slump for some to realize how it all works. Anyways, see you at the next hiring boom.

The E3s at CommuteAir are the reason they were able to do any hiring at all over these last few years. Because of their visa tying them to C5, they were practically the only ones who stayed around to upgrade, otherwise new hires would have had nobody to fly with

I know some guys there, they feel bad for the E3 Visas....stuck there for awhile until they get their Green Cards and go to the Majors.
Nice guys for the most part, they say that aviation in Australia is...bad.

No, but the airport standby and reticence of scheduling to use reserves results in junior pilots getting very little and sometimes no flight time beyond consolidation. That 'feature' makes it difficult to be in a position to move on before a theoretical training contract would expire.
If all you need is someone to pay for an ATP then it might be a viable option.
