Go to interviews and if it seems like a fit for you - take it day by day and enjoy it. I am still amazed I get to go fly 121 with minimum hours.
I am personally looking forward to being a part of seeing what happens. Holding out on the Disney rumor to have mickey ears captains hats.

I may start a ‘flow to Moxy’ rumor. Looking back over the APC threads over the last five years, such a prediction couldn’t Be any farther off than most of the ones previously made.
The only certainty in this entire industry is the mandatory retirements coming up at the biggies. Other than that tipping the odds in favor of the players rather than the house for awhile (and really, the ‘house’ will win too as they lower the average seniority for pay purposes of their pilots) it has always been a gamble. Just that now the odds are better for the regional pilots than ever before.

Anyone been to OBAP in recent years? I thought it would be a bit more organized than it’s turning out to be. What should I expect? I only want to talk with three airlines there.... should I expect to hand out resumes and talk with CP/HR types? Is there any organization to it or is it a bunch of standing in line behind a bunch of suits waiting to say the same thing over and over?
Thanks in advance

I'm assuming something is under the works to replace the Delta flying... There is a constant stream of new hires, why would we hire and spend money training people if there was no plan? Not to mention all of the flight attendants we're hiring now.
I definitely don't know a lot thought. I'm currently in the middle of training... so who knows.

There's a plan- they need butts in seats which costs money, but at least it helps fulfill their end of the agreement until either it's over or there's a bailout to fix the problem.
Let's entertain the idea that they're looking for something to replace the flying, what are their options? That's how you've got to think if you want to be ahead of the next move in this theatrical game of chess.
My advice is get any and all experience you can until either the flying is renewed or an announcement is made saying it's going away. In the meantime keep your eyes out for better opportunities and be willing to jump if you have to.
