Meh. I could commute to two out of their five bases pretty easily. Add in the two of ours that would survive the all-Mana merger and it would be OK. Not planning on working their indefinitely.

But given my choice, I like the cadre for Moxy rumor better.

There would be blood. Not like MEC-fight-for-power blood. It'd be like "that five-year CPZ guy took my IAH 175 CA slot stab him" blood.

I gotta say, this one has grown on me. Being pioneers in a new outfit flying E190's and finally being released from the grasp of holdings? Yes please.

Never bring a knife to a gunfight...

And it would be more like “that 20 month CPZ guy” with a straight merge SLI.

Relative seniority and career expectations...XJT guys knew upgrade was 8 years off, CPZ guys have an expectation of 2 years or less...

Although in truth, by the time that ALPA actually sorted it out, all of the “legacy” CPZ guys would have gotten their time and moved on so it would eventually become moot anyway.

With new hires and possible increase of 145's the upgrade could and will be at 2 yrs at Expressjet.

Looks like the additional 20 175's are coming based on staffing but who knows...

Credit to the MEC for not blowing smoke on that email.

That's not what "career expectations" is when it comes to binding SLIs. And relative seniority is not one of the three tenets of ALPA's merger policy.
