I actually do. Because it's crazy, but regionals are crazy.
I think cost will prevail in the end and we're cheaper than the other guys. The Mesa model! But, who knows. If we go byebye for DL, it won't be the crews fault. It will be on MX and TSH, unfortunately.

If the jets don't end up in the desert, they will have the same issues for the new owner, however they may be willing to pour some dollars into refurbishment and preventative MX...

As in what way? Delta doesn’t give a rats ass about money. This ain’t United or American. They know performance equals more profit and compass ain’t fitting that model.

How can you not give a rats a$$ about money but also care about more profit?

The crews are what made this airline great. It’s what I’ll miss most.

Good point

So you don’t understand how airlines make money? It has little to do with spending money on regional partners. I suggest you do some research.

Customers buy tickets to get from A to B with zero disruptions expected. Compass delaying/canceling flights are disruptions leading to disgruntled customers aka lost profit/business. That’s a start for ya. Delta’s business model is a complete contrast to AA and UA, thus buying the weaker regional doesn’t work for them.

You’re right. UA and AA are massively in the red and are making no money. Their operations don’t work. They’re failing miserably.

Normally I get annoyed when the snack basket Memes derail the conversation, but now is a good time

Not as miserably as compass. I probably would have put some effort into researching my regional of choice. Sadly this doesn’t happen too much nowadays. Stability is NOT equal across the board! Good luck to ya.

And there it is in the email. Big news today. We're losing Delta, but word around the campfire is gaining United.
