Only difference is that I don't think there will be any buying or merging. I think it will be a 2 year contract with 20-30 planes until exj can get rolling and then they go back to them.... Since UA owns an 80%stake in exj.

I love how UA ownership in XJT keeps artificially climbing... its a “minority” know one truly knows. But analysts have said 40-49 max. Ownership. Regardless if Compass bids lower then XJT on the RFP. They will get the aircraft.

The only new position on there is DRs job. The MX jobs have been open for some time

AMC, I know this doesn’t relate to Skywest or anything do with Chip, But... UA has a bit more to do with XJT than 40-49. Executives own the other half personally. They pull the strings on that airline just like at c5. All executives come from United for both Xjt or c5.

You actually convinced me.
who replaced Karnik?

Exactly. Hoefling, who spent 30 years at United. Was VP over United ewr OPS before taking c5 job. Karnik owns a piece of XJT n is also handpicked by United. Mana air address was Karnik house when United announced xjt purchase.

Oh... I can't remember where I read that. Or maybe my friend at express jet told me that, but he probably doesn't know for real. AND he's flying for United now so I can't really back up the 80% number. Maybe that was counting some exec's personal holdings as others have said.

For those thinking about leaving, I hear AirWis has a GIANT CRJ200. Legend says it takes 6 pilots just to pull the yoke back on rotation https://i.imgur.com/wbJjjp8.jpg

"At eight and a half inches tall, I thought that I'd never have the ability to fulfill my dream of being a pilot. Air Wisconsin helped me realize that dream. At Air Wisconsin, I wasn't a short person, I was a person who just happened to be short."
