Cpt I'm flying with today is a commuter and got stuck with a one day trip next week that lots of in base people would pick up but they won't let him drop it..... Doesn't make sense.

My point being, management is truly and sincerely trying to nail down a deal. And it will be a GREAT deal if it works.

But something seems to not be going right..... either way, if you look at my post history you’ll see I’m a negative and ‘us vs management’ type of guy.. but when it comes to this deal they’re working on, for once I’d like to say that we are both on the same team. Those guys (CP, not TSH) want the best for this place and care about the success of the company.

Alternatively, real Dck move not rerunning the Sept awards. Absolutely decimating 1000+ crew members QOL to save some money/trouble. Hope you lineholders are dropping as much as you can off those 90 hour lines so us reserves can get some scraps in our logbooks
I must have missed something. What's happening with not being able to drop stuff?

Also week, when we all sitting in class at Skyweezy, you gonna finally tell us what you heard in building C?

They were just referencing the email yesterday that stated the company admitted to messing up the bid and the amount of lines. And instead of rerunning it, they simply said that we have open time and can make our schedule that way. Which obviously is BS, but oh well right?

As for the dropping of trips, I believe a lot of people have been getting the “below min reserves” response from the company so they’ve been unable to drop.

Yeah or just any other random message that says you can’t drop or swap. Half the time if I’m swapping and it’s denied for no reason, by the time trip trades gets back to me the trip I wanted is already gone. Probably because the swap went through for them with no issue.

Reminds me of Harvey a couple years back..

Me to DX: hey just wanted to make sure you guys knew there was a hurricane heading for Houston tonight..

DX: yessir

Me:... And... We're still going?

DX: we have not heard of any plans to cancel

Me: uh.. ok... I guess we'll give it a shot..

Me to crew: if we actually get in... We ain't getting out... Wash your clothes tonight so when the power goes out and the flooding starts, you guys have a chance

Turns out they closed the airport for 5 days by the time we reached sterile... I was close

Ok I want to hear from everybody here.

Obviously we are all hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.

What is your cutoff date? I mean at what date, given no good news from company, are you “out of here”?
