Cool. Congrats! As with others, the bases and equipment is why I am hopeful. Updating resume monthly.

Thank you. I updated my application on AirlineApps after every flight. I also sent an e-mail expressing interest to attend one of the information sessions and to interview at the said session.

I hope you hear back soon

How long is training at Compass once you start your class?

Beechnutz 04-15-2019 03:01 PM

About two months to finish the type ride. Then on to flying IOE.

They know you are R-ATP eligible?

As far as I know I filled the application that way. Also sent a follow up question to recruitment.

I have another buddy that got the same email and we were both surprised.

Almost there

I’m about ready to throw my hat in the ring. I’m at 1300 TT, 940 ME, 850 Turbine. I’ve been flying corporate Part 91 since for about four years. I’m trying to determine the best path and the best fit for this 50 year old late starter. I reside in Houston. There is so much information and changes going on in the industry. My head is spinning. I know several people at several different carriers and it’s still hard to decide even with insider information. I like flying 91, but the money and benefits are just not up to par with what the 121 world is offering these days. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would apply to the LCCs and majors, maybe a fast moving regional. 15 years is plenty of time for the legacies - but you’ll do better - quicker as a growing LCC than a traditional legacy.
