1. 3.5 years and left over 2 years ago.
2. BlueJet still flying Embraer's
3.
-Nicole Crabby's reply all to the CP (or was it MW?)
-The clowns in STL chatting it up and hitting the reply all button to the entire company. This happened on multiple occasions if I recall.
-Braden's pen being stolen, the mass email that followed, and later his V-file filled with pens
-The trial of Isaac (the FO). He may have been acquitted, but we know he is guilty (possibly?). Not that Isaac (the CA) later changed his name in Flica to avoid being blacklisted by other FO's. That feature was subsequently turned off.
-FO's getting T-bagged from where the HUD combiner would be
-Blown slide in Vegas
-Fun crews
-Taco truck out back at the terminal in LAX
-I really enjoyed the SAN layovers. ABQ, DFW 2.0 (not the one with the crazy van driver), MDW, were reliably decent. SJC and SDF were made great again after being awful for far too long.
-The idiot flight attendant who thought if she complained about the font size and color in the new scheduling software we switched to enough, we might go back to flica.

4. Not something that I miss necessarily, but it would be nice if Republic was not removing the CZ registrations from the planes they are taking. Whenever I see a plane we used to operate, I wish it would be easier to identify that as something I had once flown mostly for sentimental reasons. But now they're all generic RW and JQ tails so unless you know what numbers the CPZ planes were you'd never know. I guess technically one plane they took delivery of was never changed because they destroyed one of the 170's in a hangar before it ever made it to the line.

The "ugh" heard 'round the world was supposed to be sent to the head of crew planning at that time in response to the fact that long call was going to be available that upcoming month for at least some (if not all) bases and seats.

So many memories in that list. Each one of those reminds me of the amazing shenanigans that happened during what I think most would consider the golden age of Compass. Here's hoping there's equally bright days ahead for those still around!

I left over 3.5 years ago after 5+ years on property there. The email incompetence at TSH/CPZ was truly staggering. Glad to see that didn’t change much.

1. Just under 3.5 Years
2. The Purple & Orange (2018 hire)
3. Being put on blast on EVERY FLIGHT by the FA on a trip that went over my Birthday.
4. Making Gulf off 25L, YVR layover shenanigans, Crazy FA stories, Great crews, MCDU preset messages & yoke clip graffiti. FX pay is better, CPZ flying was more fun.

This brought back so many memories!

1. left over 3 years ago, but was there 3. (MSP, opened LAX, upgraded there).
2. FDX
3. flying with my FA sister (you all my know who...)
4. T-baggin' FO's from the HUB empty space, yoke clip chronicles, "reply-all's", SFO Embassy happy hour, reverse high speed just like our SWA bro's off off 24R, downwind to final early morning into LAX let it all hang out and barrel in, energetic FO's and FA's. Not having RAY for recurrent. Having Bob T for recurrent. Dallas sims. That weird jetbridge bar in SMF. Calling Delta ops in LA and hearing "come on in, gate is open..."

Most fun job I've ever had and miss it everyday!

Default Farewell

Although fate never brought Compass into my career path, I always thought it would be a great place to work. I wish all the best for you guys. Keep the chins up and CPZ wave flying. Cheers.

Waiting, indefinitely, on an AA class date. I know it'll come eventually, feel bad for all the folks who don't have a CJO during all this. Takes some of the stress away for me, wish the best for everyone else.

Not a hero, but a furlough!

1. Was at CP for 4.5 years
2. Currently on unemployment but headed to Neelemens new gig in September!
3. Favorite memory is probably getting hammered at the SNA pool in the sun all afternoon followed by dropping hundreds at the sushi joint next door?
4. I will definitely miss our rockstar FO's who took care of my ass daily, and the FA's who provided plenty of laughs and support! Also taking uber's less than 10 minutes to my base was pretty rad and will never happen again probably.

Best of luck to everyone!
