What's up guys, figure I'd throw something down here. Was at ol' Compass for round about 4 1/2 years, 2 years in LA and a little over 2 in PHX. Somehow I got picked up by Daddy D a few months back... Fake it until you make it I guess....
The time spent in LA as an FO was a trip. Surfing on reserve and having to remember to get back to the beach ever 20 minutes to check and make sure Minneapolis hadn't called, crashing parties at the Custom Hotel, and cheap PBR's at the "Deck" in Hermosa are just a few of the fond memories.
PHX was just as awesome. Best parking situation ever, seriously you'll never see that again, enjoy it! Aside from the dank parking, I had the pleasure of flying with some of the best people. The crazy nights at KC BBQ in SAN, the Dugout in PSC, the Garrett in SJC, and the Green Pig in SLC... Just to name a few.
All in all Compass was a great place to work. I wish everyone the best! I'm sure I'll see some of you over here at the flying wedge soon.

1. I was at Compass for a year and a half.
2. I’m going to fly a smaller ERJ with a bigger stripe.
3. My best memory would probably be... being on reserve and just having fun being totally screwed around with and the handful of times I was able to stick it right back to em for attempting something against the contract.
4. I’m gonna miss the crews like everyone else. I used to love asking CAs their pet peeves and then doing all of them as the trip progressed. Oh you don’t like FOs saying “speed checks” before every flap extension? SPEED CHECKS FLAPS 1 😂
Also purposely hitting every centerline light when I knew a Widget CA was in first class. I had so much fun flying into great places with great people.
I truly hope it all works out for you guys. It’s a great feeling being somewhere new and not being glued to refreshing these forums everyday seeing if there’s any shred of news or new rumors. I know every Compass pilot will land on their feet.
