A Hall for the Heroes

Well I figure I may as well try to bring this one back to life for a min.
1. Was at Compass for almost 4 years
2. Heading over to see what Brown can do for me.
3. The OMA overnights have always been pretty crazy. I am not sure what it is about that place but the funniest/craziest overnights have been had there for me.
4. Hands down I am going to miss everyone here. Truly, we have some amazing people working here. I am going to miss the laid back and fun vibe we have here. Miss both of us singing California Love as we hit that Echo Romeo South route followed by keep your speed up Bravo to the box! Hearing someone say “Eagles Nest? This ain’t a place for eagles it’s more like a pigeons’ coup!” had me cracking up. Reading all the craziness in the yoke clips. Also, anytime the day would get tough all I had to do was bust out the logbook and find my favorite inspirational quote “Ops Check Good Ok for Service” and I was good to go!!

I may as well join the party here. Left in June for United after 4 1/2 years at M.W.'s fun house. In training right now on the 737. Had a great time at Compass. Great flying and even better crews and I'll miss most of you , especially the guys in my new hire class who are still there. Keep the faith fellas! If I can offer any of you any advice on how to get out it would be this. Volunteer with the union. Do anything. Safety, contract compliance, anything. We talked a great length at my interview about my safety position with ALPA. Secondly, and this is the tough one. beg, borrow, steal, whatever you have to do to become a LCA. Every civilian hire in my class of 30 that wasn't a CCP hire from ExpressJet was an LCA. I know many of you are doing just that but keep it up, good things will come.
I wish all of you the best of luck, I'm gonna miss the employee calls!
