Hey, giving credit to management this time, at least they said the new deal is off the table for now. They could have said we're working on it, blah blah blah

I totally agree on this, they were realistic and transparent as leadership needs to be.

Agreed. Say what you want, but it was a well run call. And they even opened it for questions when they could have easily restricted it. Regardless of what the next several weeks looks like, it's been a pleasure double waving with you all.

I wasn’t privy to the call, but don’t forget these guys haven’t been transparent for 7 months. One call at the end doesn’t let them off the hook. They knew the deal was shot months ago and never told you.

This isn’t because of a pandemic. They suck at their jobs and have an easy out.

I know, you’re all being positive and I want the best for everyone. But they lied to our faces for months. Sorry to hear it isn’t getting better gents.

Let's maybe take a day to just chill. Sure maybe the deal was shot, but no one would no that unless they were in on the NDA. You and I both know nothing. No evidence to support that the deal fell through or not.

Regardless of whether or not this virus is worse than the flu, will pass quickly, or isn't that dangerous, the fact of the matter is that demand has fallen. We are easy victims since we are a little staff heavy. The industry will feel this for several months regardless.

I dont think they would of been keeping extra staff if a new opportunity wasnt on the table.

There’s gotta be a cost benefit analysis being run for whatever scenario... sale, fines for not completing a contract with one or both carriers etc. I agree.

Doesn’t make the salt in the wound go away though. If you’d couldn’t tell from my interaction with Melit or my memes, I’m an angry elf.

Agreed.. Thanks, RT. Not to make light of this but I can't help see the irony.

We've been wrongly predicting "big news friday" for years.. We may actually get big news tomorrow, Friday the 13th, and it will be furloughs. 😱
