That and I don't think United can handle or even wants to add anyone to that side of Aviate. I just talked to a United recruiter, they are having to hire people on their team and planning to do 1000 interviews in the next couple months just for the united express carriers. They all seemed overwhelmed as it is. Very unlikely it sounds like they would add anyone else to that mix.

SkyWest got first bite at the first 25 planes of any new two-class flying that was offered. United already could have already offered 25 550s worth of flying, and SkyWest already could have said no behind closed doors. There's no knowing that.

I here you there, but that doesnt change that United cant give anymore 175s until GoJets 700s convert. United is scoped out on 70-76 seaters.
