Hey guys. Just wondering why? I am just getting online now and have not heard anything about this stuff. I do know a friend that did his week in MSP before X mas and had his Montreal start date pushed back from Dec to end of the first week of Jan. Is this all just a trickle down from that?

This is what they told me the 1st time they rescheduled me:

"Due to an overwhelming success rate of new pilots, there is an overage of pilots to planes at this point in time; to address this issue, so we don't have a long delay in getting our pilots trained and in planes, we are delaying some of the training classes."

They told me (due to an overwhelming....) and because of the holidays and they expected to have two more planes by now. I'm just ready to get started. My start date was 14th Dec. Now Jan 18th. I hope they don't have to change it again.

For what it's worth I haven't heard of ANY pilots being sent home because of training failures...To tell you the truth I don't know how you could. They make it pretty easy.

I think the other reason for slowing is the fact that NO one is reaching consolidation right now. We are all getting line checks to extend us for an additonal month. I have been on property since June and still haven't reached my consolidation. Should this next month, but the truth is they are definately FAT on pilots right now.

Of course we can blame it on age 65 too right

Subtitle: We are going to string you along in order to keep you off-property as long as possible to minimize our cost, regardless of the impact it might have on your personal life. Oh, and find your own way down for the whiz quiz.

Thanks for the list of over nights. Any rumors of over nights in Mexico or Bahamas, when everything gets rolling? The Compass page on this site says pay raises every Jun. 08-2012. Can anyone with a contract say if there is a change for first year FO's and 2nd year CA's?
