Does Compass have an agreement only to feed DAL, or are the available for other carriers after they got sold?

20 captains are not leaving next month. If they told you that they are either lying or they slipped up and know something about more flow through, that they havent shared with anyone else yet.(Although there have been rumors)

Honestly, I don't know what I can or can't say on here, whether the number of people leaving on flow have been made public or not. You can either believe me or not, I don't really care, I just know that senior guys are leaving for DL and other airlines in the next 60 days. There will be a Pilot Read File posted in a few weeks with more info.
Besides, even if those 20 CA's weren't leaving and attrition is at a standstill, we still need to hire 120 pilots to staff the 12 E170's that are coming on line in the next 12 months. Either way the training dept is going to stay busy into the foreseeable future. So 120 rather than 150....what a tragedy

That would be excellent news! Although I don't see them leaving next month due to having no one to replace them and the company would definitely be holding them back the contractual 90 days. But maybe, HOPEFULLY, some letters are going out next month and you guys just got to hear the whispers first! Welcome to the rat race!

Not sure about the 2 month requirement to retire. Didn't think there was one, but there may be I guess. And CPZ gets 20 flows per month, but not the "first 20" (its normal seniority distribution along with off the streeters) and if there are more than one class in a month, only one gets the 20 flows, plus the other yearly limits you mentioned.
It is technically the first 20 every month, being that if Delta only hires 20 pilots per month then they only hire from Compass. The next 9 spots go to Mesaba, so there has to be at least 30 hired at Momma D per month to even trigger "street hires." But like you said, once you get to class it is normal seniority distribution inside the class.

But I can't immagine them running a class of less than 30-50+, unless there were multipile classes in a month. The rumor of a stealthy outflow of 20 very soon seems extremely, insanely unlikely. But possible, and of course something everyone is hoping for.

True enough. I guess it depends on what your definition of first is lol.
