Quick question for those in the know:
Wikipedia says Compass flies E175
Flightaware labels all Compass flights as E170
Airfleets.net says it's a mix of E175LR, SR, IGW
I am leaning toward believing Airfleets. Can someone please confirm that they have 36 E175 airplanes.
I am also under the impression that on March 1st they announced adding 12 E170 in the near future. So it will soon be 36 E175, and 12 E170. Am I about right?
I assume the new hires will fly the E170.
Thank you for your help.

you are correct, currently we have 36 e175's and starting in May, we are receiving 12 e170's.
The Type rating reads E170/E190 so the type covers all of the e-jets. Differences training is the only thing required (to my knowledge) to fly the 170 after being trained in the 175. So everyone on property will be flying both variants.

How aggresively is compass hiring? Current competiteve minumums? Internal recs a requirement?
Also is there any way to update your application? I can access and update my "profile" but not my application. Under the "view status" there is nothing showing, like my application is not on file, however if I click on the Pilot position it says I already applied. Hope that made an ounce on sence, thanks!

Competitive Minimums
This is STRAIGHT from the DTW chief pilot...
1500 hrs, ***500 multi***, 4 year degree
***500 multi will be waived if you have one of the following***
121 time
141 flight education
4 yr degree
Seriously, they are hurting for 1500 hr guys so bad that all 3 chief pilots are going on road shows to flight schools to steal their CFI's.
The only disqualifying criteria...you work at TSA. They have been explicitly instructed NOT to hire from TSA. Its bull and the CP I talked to is really peeved about it.
