Is there a way to view how many lines and how many reserves are available in each base on flica?

No, look at the monthly pbs award email that gets sent out every month.

Is there a way for non-Compass/airline folks to see these numbers or get the pbs award email? ...Just out of curiosity...

No, except to ask a compass pilot. Someone here might be able to post the Number of lines, but I don't think that will be accurate in the commg months.

Say you are based in LAX. What are the odds of getting SFO for overnight? Yes I live in SFO and being home for additional night(s) would be a big plus during 4/5 days trips.

Also if one was to be Senior FO out of LAX, would you be able to bid so that majority of the over night stay is in SFO?

No big deal if not possible. Just curious how realistic it would be to be home in middle of your trip might be, that's all.

For now easy, come winter might be harder as the shuttle flying is cut in half

Looks like management is working on the iPad issue. The latest memo seems to indicate unless an iPad is damaged intentionally or because of proven gross negligence that the liability doesn't rest on us.
Seems like a good first step in the right direction.

Is shuttle flying being cut in half in the winter seasonal or temp? Is starting winter that becomes permanent?

Thanks
