That's a little off. Sitting in the crew room for a couple hours the other day I had a few guys who had offers at Alaskan and United. So to say across the whole company we would have 1 a month for attrition, is short sighted. Although I agree its not going to be the numbers that others might have.

Which is why I said 'currently'. Using the word currently, removes me from the category of being shortsighted. Most of those who have left have also been flow people too. So currently our non-flow attrition is 0 or 1 per month.

Just wondering, what are the American flight benefits like for those people based in LAX? Are they any better then the delta benefits?

Is it just american or is it also US Airways?

I heard we won't be getting AA benefits.

Both republic and Expressjet have american benefits, but it's about as good as not having the benefit. Actually, it's better off not having it so you don't have to pay money to commute to work. I assume you guys will have something similar as you are not wholly owned either.

How long is the Delta and American contract good for? Any chance or rumors going around for picking up more flying? Maybe United or more American options?

The AA benefits for non-wholly owned are terrible. You can't actually access the loads or flights, you have to list through MyIDtravel. After listing, you will contact your pass bureau to pay the associated segment fees, and then be ticketed. Parent's are not included.

Should you actually be given pass benefits, only those dedicated to the AA operation will receive them and you won't be getting US Airways benefits, as the travel programs continue to be separate (as far as access goes).

Heard this one today:
Delta had 30 more "Large RJs" to scope out when the last 717 is delivered per their old CBA. Heard TSH has a lock on these 30. 7 went to GoJets because they could find cheap used frames. The remainder (23) will go to Compass. The outstanding 30 'options' for the CRJ-900 will not be taken. (They already wont be able to take at least 7 of the options due to GoJets getting 7 used ones)
Apparently, CP hasn't had problems hiring up to this point. TSH's experience has been, announce more airplanes and pilots will come. This will be no different...
I would put my eggs in a basket with less lifers, growth, and movement.

When is their last 717 slated to be delivered? If there was any truth to this, at least a timeframe of reference would be nice.
