Personally, I've gone the way of a padded dinner tray. I'm able to spread out my enroute charts and still eat a full crew meal on it. All while keeping the top of my thighs comfortable.

What's a guy have to do to get noticed by Compass? I have received invites by just about everyone else but honestly, just interested in Compass since I live on the W. Coast. And, isn't QOL what we all say is the priority? I'm 1 1/2 from LAX and could sit on reserve until whenever if I had to until my turn. And I notice that candidates with both less and more experience are getting picked up. Without beating up an old man too bad, what's the secret? Thanks in advance.

I can't pinpoint a good spot now to leave scratch paper for taxi clearances, route amendments, holding instructions etc.
You're hand? The instrument panel with a sharpee?

Go to a job fair and meet them in person. There is a chief pilot there, and one or two of the interview pilots. Are you current? Do you know anyone at Compass? I believe they will be at the next job fair April 23 - LAS - Go to it.

I am current, I don't know anyone at Compass. Was hoping to make something happen a little sooner but I will consider the LAS fair. Thank you!

1) do you have any check ride failures?
2) do you have a 4 year degree?
3) Is your criminal history clear over the past 10 years?
4) is all your info up to date on your application? Such as a your medical, passport, etc all having the correct date and year input on file. You would be surprised how many people have the wrong year listed.

A problem with number 3 or 4 could easily disqualify you.
Having a check ride failure or no degree by itself will not disqualify you, however both will.

I believe criminal history goes back indefinitely, in the DOJ/FBI database. What types of convictions would bar an applicant from compass, aside from the TSA dicsqualifiers?
