I got hired with 4000 tt, a Citation type and no 121 time. I was called about a week after I put my stuff in. That was in April. They have been interviewing and hiring a few 1500 hr flight instructors since they hired me.

TN (Chief Pilot) was in my recurrent class last week, said that they are done hiring into classes for the time being as we are up to 428 (I think) pilots for 42 airframes. He said they will continue to do a little hiring for a pool, which is mostly in case Delta takes flows in late 2011/early 2012.

Hey do any of you guys know of any crashpads that are available in MSP that allow female pilots. I'm currently engaged in the Never-ending initial training at Compass, but should finally be done the end of September....maybe. Also I heard that Compass will pay for your hotel if your training goes longer than what it's supposed to. Do any of you guys know anything about that or who I should talk to about that. I'm going broke renting places to stay by the day.

The only update I've heard is we're still hiring into a pool for "rumored" DL flows later this year. I put rumored in quotes because we wouldn't hire into a pool unless we were going to put those people through training within the next few months. Apparently the CPO is quite confident the flows will happen late this year / early next year

Randow mentioned that he believed DL wouldn't hire until the middle of 2012, this was after the final early-outs were announced.
So rumors are continuing to to be consistently inconsistent.
I am just happy that hiring is on the horizon.
