Its up and running, but the admin for the site hasn't granted anyone access for a year so good luck. Pretty sure anyone hired in 2011 does not have access.

Trust me, you're not missing much at the unofficial forum.

Default Flow Down

APC has the following listed for Compass:

**Flow Down

Even after the flow up has ended, a furloughed Delta pilot will have the right to flow down to a pilot position at Compass, and will be senior to all Compass pilots with one exception: No more than 10% of the positions at Compass are “protected rights” for pilots who do not wish to flow up. To be a protected rights Compass pilot, the actual offer to flow up must be permanently forfeit. Only protected rights pilots cannot be bumped and will be senior to all furloughed Delta pilots. The remaining 90% of the positions at Compass are reserved for furloughed Delta pilots.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Does this mean a DAL pilot that never even worked for Compass can flow down if times get tough at DAL? Also, how long does this flow down work since they are no longer owned by DAL and the flow-up is cut off? Thanks for any info.... Looking at Compass but don't want to get furloughed when Iran blocks the Strait of Hormuz and gas goes up to 12/gallon...

The way it is currently set up is that the guys on property who had flow up rights can still flow up if they wish when Delta hires. As of right now thats about 65-75% of our total pilot group.

Furloughed DAL pilots whether prior CPZ or not have the option to fly at CPZ dispalcing any current CPZ pilots who have not bypassed the flow up.

After all CPZ pilots have either accepted or bypassed the flow-up, the flow-down will remain in place (as of right now). The reason for this is that ALPA wisely inserted a clause in DAL's scope stating that if the flow-through ends then so does DAL's ability to outsource 36 76seat aircraft. So the lawyers and executives determined that by leaving the flow-down in place (on paper) after the flow-up had ended, the 76 seat capacity could legally remain outsourced.

Obviously at that point 3 of the 4 parties involved (TSH/CPZALPA/DALmgmt) are not served well by the agreement, so I would expect to see it renegotiated shortly after the last flow-ups leave, if not sooner. Thing is, DALPA isn't going to just let mgmt have the 36 76seaters outsourced without getting something in return for the cancellation of the flow provisions. Maybe some new crew room furniture would be sufficient..

As far as Iran and geopolitical events, good luck predicting those. Let me know if you find the secret formula.

They closed the Starbucks (and replaced it with an inferior product) and McDonald's by G20 in MSP. If you are coming from the crew room and flying out of the G gates, get your coffee and something reasonable to eat before you get there.

I know that's not what you're looking for, but that is the biggest thing that I've noticed in the last few weeks.

I'm not exactly a Starbucks fan, but *** is with this "WorldBean" crap? First LGA, then MSP. Looks like my MSP business is going to Caribou for the future. If they'd only open a Dunkin' Donuts up there. I guess one can dream.....

I know the CIBO Express in PHL and LGA give us a 30% discount, anyone know about the new CIBO Express that just opened near G20 in MSP?
