MARX- is that 6 for October and 4 for November just remaining open slots? Otherwise that seems a bit low. I thought they were shooting for 20-25 each month...

Haha no doubt. First SLC, then LGA now LAX...what's next?

I heard the LAX rumor this week, granted it was from a commuter from Seattle so I'm sure there is no wishful thinking involved.
LAX opening is not dependent on DTW closing. DTW may close but that sure doesn't mean LAX is opening. This airline had 3 bases with 6 less airplanes. MEM closed because big D was abandoning it. |
Would anyone be really surprised if DTW closed? There's not much activity there...

Been here since 07 and DTW has been rumored to close ever since MEM closed. DTW will not close unless mama D guarantees flying and mama D does not guarantee anything. We will close DTW when delta tells us to. We were going to close DTW and open a DCA base o wait maybe a Chicago base.... No its a SLC base this time it is for real we are taking skywest flying out of SLC.... o wait Delta wants us in LGA ok the a LGA base it is DTW will be gone shortly...o now Delta wants us in LAX... DTW is gone for sure... its getting pretty old hearing this rumor from MSP based pilots... DTW has been a base since April 08 and I don't see it closing anytime soon |
All I said was would anyone be surprised... Not saying it is.

Compass updates
Does anyone know is Compass requires TSO certified headsets? From my understanding there is no FAA regulation prohibiting their use but individual carriers may choose to prohibit them.
