Where do you go w 1000 TT into an A320? Furthermore, why leave?
Not being mean, just curious is all.

You leave your assigned base, fly around for a couple days, then eventually return to said base. :D

Trips are trips, some are good, some not so good.

It varies. We do 1-5 day trips although 5 days seem rare in msp. Bidding is done via pbs and generally the more productive trips go senior. There is a big variety in trip mix, i prefer to bid for productivity and usually end up with trips which credit appx 6.5-7.5 hours per day away from home. We have trips which are both high credit and commutable but they go pretty senior. Junior folks often end up with trips which contain a 30+ hour layover somewhere, our new contract will supposedly include a min pay for those layovers. A "normal" trip is probably somewhere in between, say perhaps a 16 hour 3 day or a 22 hour 4 day with commutability on one end depending on your commute. As far as destinations on that trip anything in the us/can is fair game.

I just did a 27hr 4-day and have a 26 hour 4 day coming up but I also have a 20 hr 4 day in there. Most are only commutable on one end, but DTW is a small base with limited trip selection.
