Now that's the biggest load of BS I've heard in a while. Only mainline Delta guys who live in Atlanta are allowed to say that.

No hate from the SkyWesters. It was never our flying to begin with, its Delta's. AlaskaBound correct me if I'm wrong, but were you not just hashing this same topic on the Skywest thread, scuffling with what appeared to be a pilot that went ape sh** but was in fact not even a pilot but a dispatcher? Please stop stigmatizing my pilot group as fickle and catty based on an esteemed guess to their sentiments. Nobody here is upset or jealous.
Well "they" wont need to look in the mirror because "they" dont say anyone is stealing their flying. If there are in fact pilots that feel that way, they are rare and feel free to enlighten them as I myself would as their coworker. My comments are representative to the commonly shared sentiments of SkyWest pilots. QX pilot group getting mad at the SkyWest pilot group is very narrow minded. Be mad at Alaska who solicited the deal, or SkyWest executives for accepting it. We don't have a say in which RFPs our company bids for. We are all contracted out labor, and the major airline management teams make these decisions.

90% of the Captains I fly with when finding out I worked at Horizon ask me "You guys still hate us over there" which now I just lmao at. When I tell them how asinine it is I usually get these famous stories....
1. Ya last time I flew in SEA/PDX I myself or someone I knew saw a QX crew flipping them the bird.
2. My favorite.... Ya this one QX crew in PDX followed one of our SKW Captains out to his car and then saw it again days later and keyed his car!!!!
3. This one is almost a tie for number 2 it was from an FA I flew with a couple weeks ago she was based in SEA for some time. She claims QX folks used to spit on the RJ's.
Why do I bring this up?... Because it is the most ridiculous crap I've ever heard and takes me a solid few minutes to explain how immature and childish it is to make stories up. I swear the drama that pilot groups make up about each others companies is hilarious. If folks put in half as much effort into building this into a better profession than bickering over garbage these forums wouldn't be so full of negativity.

Anyway, back to the point of the thread. About that Compass....

For the record I've never experienced a Skywest Pilot not acknowledging me but that is probably because I've never acknowledged them. There are a lot of pilots at airports. It's too exhausting to pay tribute to all of them. I also don't waive at other motorcyclists when riding my motorcycle.
...maybe I'm the jerk.

Any idea when the next vacancy or re-alignment will be coming out? Or have we caught up with everything now and won't see anything until later in the summer?

No, I'm the majority. If people whom you speak of are upset, THEY are the exception. You have a perceived notion and your looking for anything to validate it. You started this drift in topic with your comment a few pages back. Your comments perpetuate a stereotype and a misguided notion. That's why SKW guys are on here "defending" themselves and their co-workers, because your blowing a supposed perception out of proportion and breeding mistrust and hostilities between two work groups where there should be none. If you dont have anything nice to say, or truthful, just shut up.

FWIW I've lost track of how many times I've flown through SLC or had a DH on SkyWest but both the Pilots and FA's have always been very nice.
