So are the rumors true....... (wait bad start). What are you hearing that compass will be flying out of LGA. Seems every delta regional is saying they will be flying flying out of LGA and closing a base or moving airplanes to LGA etc, etc. Whats the word?

5 or 6 years from now it will be the opposite. Thousands of openings and few pilots to staff them. Once the dam breaks loose you will have your choice of jobs. Just be careful which one you take. Research, research and research how the airline that you want to work for runs their financials. .

That was the last we have heard. Its been over a month.
Now for the rumor part. I have heard from multiple people no higher than base managers (read glorified secrataries), and maintance guys, that the LGA base will be opening in June and the MEM base closing at the same time. I have heard 15-23 airplanes.(We only have 36). I have heard MSP will also be cut in half.
All rumors of course, but that is what you asked for.

It's old WFF just put up one for AWAC too which is old. Compass, however has shut their application process for pilots, you can't apply if you haven't already. They probably were so flooded it crashed the system! I talked to someone in HR about 2 months ago and she said they have about 40 NEW apps each day! It's bad I would assume AWAC is the same way. Will this ever end!!!??
