I heard we had 40 pilots starting with you guys in October. It seems that number may be increasing.

Wow so Delta management went behind the backs of DALPA again with an increase in the SSP? I guess I never heard that there was an increase in mandatory SSP candidates that went along with the EtD deal.

The nee SSP is 300 or I believe 25% of whatever they hire in the year whichever is less. If they hire 1000 then 250 go. Nothing too special. Lots of room because by then the flows will all be done. Lots of OTS room.

Has anyone from cpz been hired on delta outside the flow through?

The SSP numbers will just about double next year, due to the EtD expansion.

If they do that, won't it exhaust the ranks even worse? I know XJT had slightly higher block hours in the month of September than planned due to Endeavor not able to staff.

Guess with the reduction of 200 it may all work out.

For pay scale purposes, when do you go from year 1 to year 2? Is it the anniversary of your indoc date, or when you come back to start training, or after IOE, or something else??

Date of hire

Is date of hire considered the day you interview and accept the job? Only asking because for me, I interviewed in April but don't go to indoc till October, so would I only spend 6 months on year 1 pay, then bump up in April?

The day you to to your first day of indoc is your hire date.
