Leather Jacket wings

Already searched to no avail. Question is for those who are wearing the leather jacket: The wings that I received have pins that are spaced about a 1/4" too narrow to fit the M&H eyelets properly. Is there a different set of wings for our jacket? OR, did M&H sell me the wrong jacket. Thanks in advance....

Cant pull off the leather jacket so I don't wear it. But to answer your question I was told if I did, to check with the chief pilot at your base as they have properly sized wings available.

I wore my shirt wings in my leather jacket for a day because it was a weekend. Then I walked into the chief pilots office and spoke to the Administrstor who reached into a drawer on the C.P. Desk. There's a box of leather jacket wings. They have threaded screws on the back of them.

Where do you live and how long have you been with AWAC? If you're closer to one of our bases I can't see why you wouldn't. That said I wouldn't plan on upgrading in less than two years unless we get new flying, which is always possible.

Take the plunge! There have been several new hires getting MSP before IOE. I'm assuming the senior FO's are upgrading and leaving some holes in the line. Shouldn't be too difficult to get MSP as a new hire.

Getting it as a CA, well now, that's different.

Sounds like you made your decision.

I'd worry about MSP being a base

Are new hires getting SEA out of IOE? How long is the upgrade running? Would you leave a CA seat to go home?
