That explanation on the email was clear as mud.

What happens if a pilot has to call in sick or get bought off for OE?

The original intent was to protect these situations, but by inserting "non-working calendar day" in the language caused all time prior to November 28th to not be paid and it is still not credit, which is a very helpful facet. You would like to see it as credit since you are more protected and PBS would use it towards your MLV unless you waived it. Understand the point being, your choice.

Just in case anyone forgot, the whole reason the adtg came about was because the company refused to give credit and then after we voted, only pay and credit for "non-working calendar days", while no pay or credit for those 0001 duty offs, then pay only and no credit for them after November 28th. It should have always been a choice between the adtg or full credit and pay for these days.

The adtg would have always paid and credited a 2 leg turn to FAI at 14:15. Now it will thankfully pay 12:00, but only credit 8:00. Is that really a better choice? How about flying a LAX-SAN daytrip and getting paid 4:00 vs. 4:45 or 6:00 vs. 7:07 with critical pay? With partial trading/pickups and how little you could fly while still getting the adtg, your tafb/credit ratio was really high. It's too bad people won't be able to do that anymore. I'm surprised the company was even considering keeping the adtg over the 4:00.

Agreed. 4:45 was much more beneficial at keeping more efficient pairings. Company will change the pairings depending on whichever one we are operating under. 4:45 at least protected day trips and these terrible FAI trips.

Compass bros, maybe one of you can help me.
My phone, a galaxy s6, decided to reset itself earlier this week. I had to redownload the outlook app. When I try to log in, it asks me to update password since it's my first time logging in. I do so and then it says it can't log me in for some stupid error.

Is there an email address for IT? I've called the number about 7 times today and only received a busy tone. I'm dying to see all the lost sunglasses and send to all pilots emails I've been missing.

They had a "glitch" where some people were getting notices to reset the password. I thought maybe we would finally get away from everyone having the same password! I called IT and they said that was an error and reset me back to the "standard" password and still not able to change it.

Sadly you just need to keep calling until eventually they pickup. Leaving a message is useless from my past experiences.

Admins or Chiefs will give you an email address that worked for me. Use the base admin email you'd use for commuter hotels.

I got the reset password email and changed my password. No issues at all.

phalanxo 01-21-2016 02:56 PM

Didn't work for me, and I managed to get IT on the phone and they reset it for me. Said I still can't change it. Some accounts seem "different" for some reason as people have told me either they could change or couldn't.

Do compass employees get any discounts on cell phone service? Looking to switch carriers.
