Lots of upgrades! I predict the floor for captains will go up to 90 hours once they all hit the line

288 proposed FOs in LAX and 14 more upgrades. What's going on?

My thoughts exactly. I find it also weird all of our critical trips are CA only, and floors being raised sometimes for CA only. (aside from this month)

Why are we running so thin on CA's all the time? I dont get it

We need more captains, I get that. But many more FOs with more on the way. Hmm...

Just weird... They're still building a lot of what would be seattle trips out of LA, just to end up with a ton of reserve CA in SEA.... that then they deadhead to LA for LA trips... that end up going in and out of Seattle mostly.....
If it didn't make so much sense I'd be very confused.

Probably so they can build up the demand for CA's and then crank then out when the time comes and tout the "quick upgrade" card again. That would be my guess. No one believes the "quick upgrade" when there are only 4-5 per month.
