Hey, is it true that you guys are not allowed to carry off line crew members on a repo flight? I was trying to go from Detroit to Minnie this afternoon and was told it was against company policy. I understand that you can't on a ferry flight?

I'm sure it's mostly all speculation, but does anybody in the know have any idea how long we're going to continue to hire at this rate? Are we still having weekly classes? Have they been full? I imagine the instant raise and commuter hotels will help out immensely. Just curious.

40/month through the end of March, not speculation, that's what the instructors were told in their last instructor meeting. After March, 15/month for attrition.

If they are planning on growth next year they're not telling anyone. The gist of it was we grew real fast and lost a lot of people so now it is time to play catch up for 2016. The pilot supply is drying up and all carriers are basically poaching from each other and the $10,000 bonus was to see if they could get a bunch of people to come over from Republic. American performance is good and Delta is improving, but needs to be better.

Get yourself put on the release and now you are a crew member. We did a repo once and got a pilot on that way. It was his idea and whoever he talked to was fine with it.

You can't put off line on a release, can you? I have never had to do that at my company or when I've done it on mainline. Makes no sense to me. The captain said it wasn't allowed

Ferry flights not maintenance flights can take company employee non rev paxs along. You give name and employee number to dispatch and all is ok. This is at envoy so it must be done at other carriers. This is for that metal company employees only, other carriers are not allowed on ferry or repo flights.

Well I know that Delta takes off line on repo flights and so does Endeavor. It's written right in our Fom. I'm not sure what the difference is at other companies. This was a Compass repo of a good aircraft from Detroit to Minnie. Seemed like a new Captain that was unsure. I just wanted to know for future reference

At XJT (ASA) we took an endeavor nonrev on a repo. All nonrevs had to be put on the release for ours.

Sorry I misread that. I thought you meant another compass employee. My apologies
