Delta doesn't provide hotels during training either. It's not just a regional thing and that doesn't make it ok. Hotels should be provided.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's the only regional out there that has guaranteed movement over the next year and beyond. (yes, yes...as long as Delta keeps the flow through...standard disclaimer and not all of them are chasing upgrades even though we all know we all want to sit left seat for the pay bump and some PIC time..blah blah blah). Most of the guys getting hired are not SJS flight school instructors. They're FOs from other 121 carriers who have been furloughed or haven't seen movement for the past 6 years at their most previous airline and are threatened with furlough.

I agree with the lodging, and that the company should pay for it, but as stated already, as long as they have ppl show up, they are not going to change it.
