Compass Updates - Saga Continues
It was not written in good faith...it was written in bankruptcy and forced on the NWA pilots. The update in C2014 was negotiated/arbitrated with TSH and there wasn't much that changed other than adding the min day (which TSH tried to interpret as not really a min day), introducing the idea of LCR, raising DH pay and some very small pay raises (forced arbitration).
Section 25 didn't change at all IIRC. We're pretty much operating under a bankruptcy contract, so we got that going for us...which is nice.

Scheduling refused to transfer me to the CP on call recently... said it was not their concern, LOL. I was angry that they manipulated the connection time in order make a pairing legal when I was gonna clearly timeout during the turn. I was like, um, I can just call them myself... he refused, probably because he knew he was being sketchy.
'So there I was...' I knew it, he knew it, I knew that he knew it, and he knew that I knew that he knew it.

Award just came out. All 3 bases saw new hires pretty evenly spread out. Good news for those coming...

Good to see a healthy number of new hires on the last few awards! looks like 75 NH's total over the last three awards approximately 10% of the seniority list in just a couple of months.

I wonder if I am the only one who still questions the thinking behind the PHX base..DL really has no plans to add any point to point routes out of there and we share a decent amount of flying with SkyWest as it is,and American doesn't want the 175 there as their performance in hot temps is a bit less than the "9". Just seems as if it was opened for the sole purpose of attracting new hires but operationally makes no sense. Based on the reserve numbers on a daily basis seems those crews would be better spread between LAX and SEA,or am I missing something?
