Any of you who commute and buy multiple months of parking at your home have any trouble being reimbursed month to month? Anything special you do with the receipt? Just got a new one and they make us do 6 months minimum now... Just seeing if there is any experience out there with it. Thanks
I just print off a statement from my bank (blacking out all nonrelevent info) showing the bill pay of the full 6 month amount to the account with the memo line saying "[Airport] Jan-Jun 2017 parking [name] [employee number]." Turn in the same receipt every month with an expense report for $50. Never had an issue. I specifically asked Andy if my method was ok and he said it was fine.

I've been following this fine thread for a couple years now...good stuff.
I hold a CJO from CPZ for a summer ground school and have to make plans to commit or not. I wanted to get a brief update on a few troublesome issues that generated hundreds of posts on this forum, but discussions/gripes seem to have gone silent lately. They are:
* The changeover to the new crew scheduling system - still a Charlie Foxtrot or has the system now been fixed?
* The loss of MSP base - this consolidation seems like not a good thing but it's no longer discussed (??).
* A giveback of some ERJs - this again seems like not a good thing but it's no longer discussed (??). I assume the math is that the loss of jets means everyone flys less? What are the future prospects?
(Aside: I recently interviewed with SkyWest and recruiters seemed a bit smug about what has happened with Compass recently. Should I assume from this that the jets Compass lost were re-purposed to SkyWest?)
Ultimately, the question is: is Compass still a good place to join as a new FO?
Sorry for the noob questions... I are one.

I will tell you all the guys in your class and the pilots on the line are all good people. I had a horrible experience with CPS recently. Training department is complete ****. The lines of communication are only one way. I'm at Skywest now and training and management is much better. I agree some of the recruiters were a bit smug but haven't looked back since. I know my experience was few and far between but it still happened.....

Delta in LAX ... "will immediately increase from 16 gates at its current location to 23 gates, and will have the space to eventually expand to a total of 30 gates."
We go from 16 to 23 as of May 17. Time to start putting up good Delta performance numbers and ensuring this airline survives... (especially when the GDP goes away.) so we can be a part of the expansion up to 30...
Becoming pretty clear now why MSP closed.

I think the most important line is "Time to start putting up good Delta performance numbers and ensuring this airline survives"
